Terms of reference
- To drive the implementation of the Gender and Transgender Action Group Plan.
- To advise the Equality and Standards Board on issues relating to the working environment/employment and potential employment/service delivery as they affect women and transgender employees.
- To assist the force in making sure its policies and procedures take into account the needs of female and transgender staff.
- To provide support in the recruitment of new personnel and progression of existing personnel - female and transgender.
- To raise awareness of issues affecting women and transgender employees throughout the force.
- To liaise with external and partner organisations to make sure appropriate advice and information is sought in relation to female and transgender staff.
- To assist the force in making sure its policies and procedures take account of the needs of female and transgender witnesses, victims and offenders.
