Gypsy and Traveller Action Group

Terms of reference

  1. To drive the implementation of the Gypsy and Traveller Action Group Plan.
  2. To advise the Equality and Standards Board on Gypsy and Traveller issues.
  3. To provide support in the recruitment of new personnel and progression of existing personnel.
  4. To assist the force in making sure its policies and procedures take into account the needs of Gypsy and Traveller groups.
  5. To raise awareness of Gypsy and Traveller issues throughout the force.
  6. To liaise with external and partner organisations to make sure appropriate advice and information is provided.
