Disability Community Involvement Forum

The forum is for Kent residents who:

  • have a disability
  • are a carer of a person with a disability
  • are a member of a group who represent disabled people.

We hope to get your views and experiences on a range of policing issues and key issues for discussion include:

  • improving accessibility to our services
  • dealing with disabled people as witnesses and victims of crime
  • arresting and detaining disabled people
  • hate crime
  • different ways of reporting crime
  • staff training in communication and understanding disability issues.

We'd like your views on:

  • how Kent Police performs
  • what we should priorities or investigate
  • what issues concern you

Get involved

If you are interested in getting involved, or know someone who may be interested, please call 01622 652444 or email the diversity team.
