Partners and Community Together (PACT) gives you the chance to influence what happens in your neighbourhood.
At our regular PACT meetings, you can meet your neighbourhood policing team, have your say on how your neighbourhood is policed and monitor our performance.
PACT meetings are open to everyone. You can find details of your next PACT meeting and get involved through the Your Neighbourhood search (also available on the right hand side of every page). Simply type in your post code and you'll find details about what’s happening where you live.
On your ward page, you'll also find details of your neighbourhood officer and priorities for your area.
Let us know the top three priorities you think we should be working on in your area.
1. Email your neighbourhood team
To find out the email address of your neighbourhood team, enter your postcode into the Your neighbourhood search and send us a message.
2. Tell us your priorities in order of importance for you
(one being the most important)
For example:
1. Speeding along the highstreet
2. Graffiti around the superstore on Castle Road
3. Littering in the park
We will then review all emails and priorities raised at Partners and Community Together (PACT) meetings and work on those which most people are concerned about.
At a PACT meeting you can tell your neighbourhood team what issues concern you.
After discussion, a smaller group called a PACT panel, decides on the top three policing priorities for the area.
The neighbourhood policing team and other agencies will report back to the community on the action being taken to solve the priority issues.
A PACT Panel is made up of local people and representatives from local organisations. Together they aim to improve the long-term quality of life of residents.
You can find out more about starting a PACT Panel by reading our guidance.
