CDRPs are collaborative partnerships between the police, local councils and other services involved in reducing crime.
Following the publication of the Crime and Disorder Act in 1998, every borough in England established a CDRP.
Their purpose is to audit crime and disorder in their areas and to set up a strategy to reduce it. The results are regularly published.
