Special constables in Kent support regular officers and make a significant contribution to the development of neighbourhood policing. This includes:
As a special constable we expect you to perform 16 hours of duty a month as well as attend training.
You will need to commit to a two-week forecast of duties. This enables us to make sure you are properly and effectively deployed.
You will also be expected to commit to the role for a minimum of two years.
