Police have released a computer-generated image of a man they want to talk to in connection with an assault outside the Rising Sun pub in Reculver Road, Herne Bay, on Christmas Eve.

A 44-year-old man from Herne Bay had been in the pub during the evening but as he left at 1am he talked to two men at the door, and one of them punched him in the face.

The men followed him out of the pub towards Seaview Road where he was knocked to the ground and kicked in his head and left side. He was later treated at hospital for bruising.
