Roads closed after Westgate collision

Woman suffers life-threatening injuries after collision with car

Kent Police is appealing for information after a woman was seriously hurt in a road traffic collision in Canterbury Road/Minster Road in Westgate-on-Sea.

Officers were called at 11.20am on Friday 5 February to reports of an incident in the area. The exact location of the collision has not yet been confirmed.

A woman in her 80s was involved in a collision with a Rover car and suffered leg and abdominal injuries. She was been flown by the Kent Air Ambulance to King's College Hospital in London for treatment. Her injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
