Five people have been arrested following a serious assault on two men in Stonebridge Way, Faversham, which happened shortly after midnight on Saturday 6 February.

A group of young men set upon the two victims as they walked through an alleyway, which leads from Stonebridge Way to Monks Close. One of the victims needed hospital treatment following the incident after sustaining facial injuries.

All those arrested have been bailed until 10 March while officers make further enquries into the incident.
