Nuisance bikes seized in Trench ward

Local PCSO responds to residents' concerns

YSWDSeized mini-moto

PCSO Linda Baker has seized a mini-moto and an off-road motorcycle from young people in Trench ward following complaints from residents about the anti-social way in which they were being ridden.

The vehicles were seized in two separate incidents on 30 October and 6 November. Talking about the seizures, PCSO Baker said: ‘The bikes were not being ridden legally on the road and they were not insured.’

She continued: ‘It is very important that people understand that bikes like these have to meet the requirements of the law before they can be ridden on the road or other public places. If you do not know what you should do then seek advice before you buy a bike or go on one.’
