Completed priorities for your neighbourhood

The following priorities have been completed in the past year.

You said

Anti-social behaviour - Rochester Coach Park,Acorn Wharf Gas House Lane

Anti-social behaviour, including in and around the men's toilets.

We did

Neighbourhood officers for Rochester West ward are carrying out regular high visibility foot patrols in the area and continue to speak with members of the community to gather details of any vehicles or people acting in an anti-social way. The officers actions appear to be helping to reduce the problem by deterring people from acting anti-socially.

You said

Parking - Borstal Street by the White Horse Public House and at the junction with Shorts Way

Parking problems.

We did

Officers have carried out visual audits and patrols to check vehicles are not parked on double yellows lines or causing an obstruction. Officers have also moved vehicles which are causing a problem and will feed back to the PACT meeting members.

Parking problems outside the school.

Rochester West PCSOs Teresa Gordon and Dan Garfield continue to patrol the area around the school. The highly visible presence of officers has helped to improve the situation and, as such, will continue in the coming weeks to make sure this progress is maintained.

A large number of young people gathering near the memorial in Rochester High Street.

Neighbourhood officers continue to maintain a visible presence through patrols in Rochester High Street. They have been speaking to staff at local businesses and residents about the issue and have been told that anti-social behaviour is not currently a major concern.

Neighbourhood officers in Rochester West ward continue to patrol outside the Pilgrims School and surrounding area at various dates and times depending on shifts. They have concentrated on Warwick Crescent. The school and local residents are very supportive of officers' presence and have reported that it is making a big difference .
