Immigration and Asylum Action Group

Terms of reference 

  1. To drive the implementation of the Immigration and Asylum Action Group Plan.
  2. To advise the Equality and Standards Board on diversity issues relating to immigration and asylum.
  3. To assist the force in making sure its policies and procedures take into account the needs of all groups.
  4. To provide support in the recruitment of new personnel and progression of existing personnel in relation to diversity and the policing of immigrant and asylum seeking people groups.
  5. To raise awareness of immigration and asylum issues throughout the force.
  6. To liaise with external and partner organisations to make sure appropriate advice and information is provided.
