Chief Constable Ian Learmonth

The Chief Constable is responsible for:

• the direction and control of the force
• the management of the budget and use of funds to deliver the objectives and targets set out in the force's strategy for the next three years

The Chief Constable is accountable to the Kent Police Authority and is the person responsible to the courts for police operations. He is also a member of the Kent Partnership and the Public Service Board.
