We realise that being a victim of crime can be very distressing. When you report a crime you will be asked whether you want to be put in touch with your local Victim Support service.

Victim Support

Victim Support is an independent charity which helps people cope with the effects of crime. It does this by providing:

  • someone to talk to about what has happened
  • information about police and court procedures
  • liaison with other organisations on your behalf
  • information about compensation and insurance
  • links with other organisations who may be able to help
  • a witness support service.

To find out more, visit the Victim Support website.

Counselling Directory

The Counselling Directory website offers details of a range of UK counsellors and psychotherapists, with information on their areas of counselling, fees and contact details.

For more information, visit the Counselling Directory website.

Report hate crime

If you've suffered abuse because of your sexual orientation, religion, disability or race, report it online, on the True Vision website.
