Kent Police works with Kent County Council and Medway Council to develop online safety resources for schools.
Our internet safety posters are issued to secondary schools across the county to help raise awareness of the dangers of the web.
The posters (downloadable below) target students and their parents and teachers, emphasising the risks of the internet and signposting children and their carers to help and advice.
The posters alert young people to the potential dangers of sending information, meeting online contacts and sending photographs over the internet. They also warn carers that they never know who is watching over a webcam.
Other potential internet threats include personal securety, grooming and online child abuse, illegal content and cyber bullying.
