Why report hate crime?

What can I report?
Report any incident where:
- you feel you, or someone else, has been targeted because of your personal characteristics or
- you believe it was motivated by hatred i.e. graffiti, bullying or verbal abuse
If you have experienced hate crime, record as much information as possible. Find out what's useful to record.
We know hate crimes and incidents are significantly underreported. Please have the confidence in us to report them.
