Daniel Junior Mais, 31, of High Street, Rochester was sentenced on 25 October 2011 at Medway Magistrates’ Court.
Mais pleaded guilty to drink driving.
On 25 October 2011 in Chatham, Mais drove a BMW along Ordnance Street while over the drink drive limit. He had 63 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is £35 microgrammes.
Magistrates disqualified Mais from driving for 18 months and fined him £100. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
Disqualification can be reduced by 135 days if, by 10 October 2012, Mais satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State costing £192.
