Daniel Mark James Tidy, 29, of White Horse Lane, Maidstone was sentenced on 17 October 2011 at Mid Kent Magistrates’ Court.
Tidy pleaded guilty to drink driving.
On 1 October 2011 in Otham, Maidstone, Tidy drove a Toyota Corolla along White Horse Lane while over the drink drive limit. He had 58 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Magistrates disqualified him from driving for 36 months and fined him £200. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
Disqualification can be reduced by nine months if, by 15 November 2013 Tidy satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State costing £192.
