Ruikis was disqualified from driving for drink driving

Evaldas Ruikis, 23, of Florence Road, Maidstone was sentenced on 17 October 2011 at Mid Kent Magistrates’ Court.

Ruikis pleaded guilty to drink driving.

On 1 October 2011 in Maidstone, Ruikis drove a BMW along Upper Fant Road while over the drink drive limit. He had 98 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

Magistrates disqualified Ruikis from driving for 28 months and fined him £120. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
