James Henden, 27, of Munsgore Lane, Sittingbourne was sentenced on 28 October 2011 at Mid Kent Magistrates’ Court.
Henden pleaded guilty to drink driving
On 11 October 2011 in Sittingbourne, Henden drove a Mitsubishi K200 along Grovehurst Road while over the drink drive limit. He had 97 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Magistrates disqualified Henden from driving for three years and ordered him to carry out 170 hours of unpaid work. He must also take part in 16 sessions of a drink drivers course and pay £85 court costs.
