Cox was sentenced to 40 days in prison for shoplifting

Jason Lee Cox, 38, of Wallace Mews, Folkestone was sentenced on 20 October 2011 at Channel Magistrates’ Court, Folkestone.

Cox pleaded guilty to two counts of shoplifting.

On 13 June 2011 in Chertion Road, Dover, Cox stole alcohol from a supermarket. On 13 September 2011 in High Street, Folkestone, Cox stole food from a supermarket.

Magistrates sentenced Cox to 40 days in prison due to the seriousness of the offence and his previous offending history.
