Lambert was disqualified from driving and fined for drink driving

John Lambert, 47, of no fixed address, was sentenced on 19 October 2011 at Channel Magistrates’ Court, Folkestone.

Lambert pleaded guilty to drink driving.

On 27 September 2011 in Folkestone, Lambert drove a Citroen Zsara along Boulevard D’Elanger while over the drink drive limit. He had 113 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

Magistrates disqualified Lambert from driving for 24 months and fined him £580. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

Disqualification can be reduced by six months if, by 19 February 2013, Lambert satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State costing £192.
