Karen Roberts, 39, of Gordon Road, Dover was sentenced on 26 October 2011 at Channel Magistrates’ Court, Folkestone.
Roberts pleaded guilty to drink driving.
On 15 October 2011 in Dover, Roberts drove a Saab SN04 along London Road, Temple Ewell while over the drink drive limit. She had 131 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Magistrates sentenced Roberts to 84 days in prison, suspended for 18 months and disqualified her from driving for 36 months. As well as this, she must carry out 300 hours of unpaid work in the next 18 months and was ordered to take part in a programme requirement for 14 days. Roberts must also pay £85 court costs.
Disqualification can be reduced by nine months if, by 24 November 2013, Roberts satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State costing £192.
