Detectives appeal for witnesses following assault in Maidstone

Detectives from Maidstone police station are appealing for witnesses to an assault that left a man with a broken arm.

The incident is reported to have occurred at around 5pm on 4 January in Northumberland Road, Maidstone. A man in his 40s was assaulted near the parade of shops. Having put his arms up to protect himself, the victim later required treatment to a broken arm.

Dark jogging bottoms

The suspect is described as being a white man aged between 16-18 years of age, of medium build, around 5ft 6in in height, and was wearing a white top, dark jogging bottoms and white trainers.
