A man has been jailed for nearly three years after he admitted possessing cannabis and party drug MDMA with intent to supply.
George Alan Frederick Bevan, of Overy Street, Dartford, was arrested after Kent Police officers executed a warrant at his home address on 20 August and discovered quantities of cannabis and Ecstacy in the form of MDMA powder.
Following an appearance at Maidstone Crown Court where he pleaded guilty, he was ordered on 31 January to serve a 32-month custodial sentence.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Angela Costin of Kent Police said: ‘We will not tolerate drug dealing and this case should serve as an example to other Kent residents who believe they can get away with it.
‘So-called party drugs like MDMA are extremely dangerous and we will continue to stamp out offenders who deal them out.’
