Four people injured in collision on Fairfield Road, Appledore

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on Fairfield Road, Appledore on Saturday 20 August in which four people were seriously injured. 

A blue Vauxhall Corsa, carrying four people, was travelling along Fairfield Road at approximately 5.30am when it left the road and was in collision with a drainage channel.

The four occupants were all taken to William Harvey Hospital where they are being treated for their injuries. Three of those involved have suffered serious injuries, one woman is in a critical but stable condition.

Detective Sergeant  Miles Bishop of the Kent Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit, appealed for witnesses to come forward.  He said, 'Four young people have been seriously injured in this collision.  I urge anyone who saw the incident or has information that may assist us with our investiation to phone the Serious Collision Investigation Unit's witness appeal line on 01622 798538.'
