Rusthall online beat meeting

Tuesday 2 November 2010, 7 to 8pm

On Tuesday we held the first online beat meeting in Rusthall ward and local residents took the chance to tell us some of their concerns.

Your main concerns seemed to be:

• anti-social behaviour in the high street
• criminal damage around Southwood Road allotments
• parking issues.

The local officers, PCSO Gemma Pepper, PC Rachel Howson and Sergeant Ross Shearing who hosted the meeting, have now taken away the issues raised and will work on solutions with colleagues and partner agencies.

Online beat meetings give us the chance to reach a wider audience and get local people's views on what they'd like us to be working on in the community. The online meetings complement community surgeries and face-to-face interaction as a way of feeding back on action taken to resolve issues.
