On 2 June, PCSO Supervisor Dave Garland, PCSO Steve Coulter and PCSO Jodie Bryan joined local people online to give advice and news on community policing issues in the area.
Issues discussed
During the meeting, questions and comments included:
- cars parking on pavements along Dryden Close. Officers have visited the area with council parking enforcement officers and issued fines. No reports have been received recently and people are encouraged to ring in with details of cars causing an obstruction - 101.
- people drinking alcohol and the associated negative behaviour, in Lady Wooton's Green.
- drug dealing on the Quern's Road estate and on the footpath to St Martin's. Officers are gathering information and have been carrying out patrols along the footpath to deter offenders. A number of people have been stopped and searched.
