Planners and developers

Making sure you design out crime before you begin your build allows you to create a more enticing area for potential home-buyers and a safer place for the wider community.

Using the Kent Design Inititative's (KDI) 7 principles of good design allows designers, planners, developers and architects to reduce opportunities for criminal behaviour and in turn reduce the fear of crime.

The KDI Protocol formalises the working relationship between yourself and the necessary agencies.
