1.1. This policy has been reviewed in February 2022. No changes have been made.
2.1. The purpose of this policy is to provide direction on the subject of anti-social behaviour (ASB) as per the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 and to highlight available tools for managing dealing and resolving issues of ASB.
Compliance with this policy and any linked procedure is mandatory.
3.1. Kent Police recognises the need to tackle both the harm caused by anti-social behaviour and the perceptions surrounding this emotive issue.

By ensuring that our policing response is able to meet local needs and by acting quickly to disrupt and stop ASB, we can be more effective in reducing harm to victims, particularly those who are repeat and/or vulnerable victims by using an enhanced service. There are a number of tools available across the multi-agency community safety landscape. These can be found on the hyperlinks which are attached to this policy.
