Chief officers were asked to note and agree the changes to the risk register in preparation of the risks to the Joint Audit Committee on 26 September 2023.

Chief officer’s noted the new risks references 2, 3 and 28 respectively and noted and agreed the proposed changes since the last update.
DCO Drysdale provided an overview of the briefing report paper circulated to chief officers for information.
Decisions:
Chief officers noted the paper and requested that the strategy is updated with the decision to progress the sale of Tunbridge Wells Police Station, for the Chief Constable to discuss with the Police and Crime Commissioner.
A/ACO Humphrey provided an overview of the proposed new police constable entry (three-year) Programme (PCEP) to replace the current enhanced Initial Policing Learning and Development Programme (IPLDP) which is not being relicensed by the College of Policing beyond 1 April 2024.
Decisions:
The Chair advised that no decision would be made until the College of Policing provides a further update to NPCC CC’s Council in September following amendments requested by Chief Constable’s at the Council Meeting in July 2023, which will be shared with Learning and Development.
The Chair requested that a further update on the PCEP is tabled at a COMB Strategic meeting at the end of October/beginning of November 2023 and if any further information is provided by the College of Policing prior to the next CC’s Council meeting at the end of September that it is forwarded to the Chief Constable for his view.
