Mr. Castle presented the latest briefing update to chief officers to note for information. No actions or decisions.
DCS Armory presented his briefing paper to chief officers to note the sustained progress to tackle the backlog.
Decisions:
DCS Armory will discuss with DCC Ayling the current and future force threat risk assessment requirements in relation to vetting.
It was agreed that a further briefing will be provided by DCS Armory to COMB in three months (23 April 2024) to include: an update on the backlog, SLA timeliness for internal and external vetting, and future structure considerations, taking into account Angiolini Inquiry recommendations.
