2. Date, time and venue of the hearing: Monday 22 June 2026 in the Clift Room, Kent Police Force Headquarters, Sutton Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 9BZ commencing at 10am.
3. The conduct and how that conduct is alleged to amount to gross misconduct:
The case relates to an allegation the officer accessed several policing records without a legitimate purpose. It is further alleged he shared some of this information with family members.
The officers' conduct is alleged to have breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour relating to Duties & Responsibilities, Orders & Instructions, Honesty & Integrity, Confidentiality, Challenging & Reporting Improper Conduct and Discreditable Conduct.
The Chair of the hearing has imposed the following conditions:-
1) The taking of photographs and the use of visual or sound recording equipment during the hearing or by attendees whilst on police premises is prohibited, except for official purposes by the Professional Standards Department.
2) Any form of live streaming or live use of social media within the hearing is prohibited.
