On 13 to 14 July 2026 Former PC 30827 Beaumont was subject to a gross misconduct hearing relating to failure to meet standards under the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020. The case arose from allegations that the officer had subjected a colleague to unwanted sexualised behaviours on a number of occasions. It is further alleged the former officer urinated in a public place. The hearing was held in public.
The officer did not accept that the conduct alleged amounted to gross misconduct.
Having considered the cases put forward by the presenting counsel, the panel found the case proven to be one of gross misconduct.
They considered that the officer’s conduct had breached the standards of professional behaviour relating to authority, respect and courtesy, equality and diversity and discreditable conduct.
In considering the disciplinary outcome, the tribunal took into account the former officer’s personal record.
The former officer would have been dismissed had they still been serving. They have been added to the College of Policing Barred List.
