The Learning and Development department based at Kent Police College in Maidstone provide training to our staff.
We are committed to engaging, supporting and developing officers, staff and volunteers through a wide-range of learning opportunities from foundation level through to specialist skills.
We provide training to the highest possible standards which is modern and innovative, maximising technology and demonstrating efficient and effective learning opportunities.
We aim to provide training to all staff to support individuals to maximise their potential, enhancing our front-line capability to provide the very best possible service delivery to victims, witnesses and the local communities.
Some courses such as driver training, crime scene investigation and specialist crime training are also available to other forces and government agencies.
