Kent Police have statutory partnerships with the following:
KMSAB is a multi-agency partnership, consisting of statutory and voluntary partner organisations, working together to keep adults at risk of abuse or neglect safe. It is everyone's right to live in a safe environment, free from harm. Adult Safeguarding is about keeping people safe and protecting them from abuse and neglect wherever possible.
MSCP aims to support and enable local organisations and agencies to work together in Medway in a system where:
KSCMP is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children who live in Kent. To do this, they endeavour to provide help and support in the best ways possible to meet their needs. The vision of the KSCMP is to protect children from harm and prevent them from the risk of being harmed, support their recovery from harmful situations and improve our services through learning.
These are formal arrangements established by Criminal Justice and Court Services Act 2000 and the Criminal Justice Act 2003 which require the police, probation and prison services to join together with other agencies to assess and manage the risks posed by sexual and violent offenders.
