Apprenticeships - real life experiences

Read the experiences of some Kent Police apprentices talking about what they got out of the scheme..
  • Aimee, 18, apprentice in the Community Safety Unit
I’ve always had an interest in the police and for a long time I wanted to join as an officer. Applying for the apprenticeship in Business and Administration was a step in the right direction.

I’ve been at Kent Police a year and learnt many new skills which I know I’ll use in the future. I can use different computer systems and know lots of different processes for completing tasks effectively.

My confidence has grown a lot and I know I’m a dynamic and productive member of the team.

I’ve really enjoyed my time in the office. I’ve worked with so many different people, all of whom have been welcoming and helpful.

The apprenticeship has far exceeded my initial expectations and I’d recommend it to anyone.
