Ramsgate man charged in connection with attempted robbery
A 23-year-old man is to appear in crown court next month charged in connection with an attempted robbery in Ramsgate.
At around 1.35pm on Wednesday 7 February 2018, an attempted robbery was reported at a shop in High Street, Ramsgate. Nothing was reported stolen. A man in his 20s was taken to a local hospital with an injury to his neck.

Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses, and ask anyone with information about the incident to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting ZY/6662/18.
Ryan Diggins of Newcastle Hill, Ramsgate, was arrested and charged with attempted robbery and having an imitation firearm with intent to commit an offence.
He appeared via virtual link at Canterbury Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 10 February where he was remanded.
The case will be heard at Canterbury Crown Court on 12 March.
A 24-year-old man who was arrested on 7 February in connection with the incident has been released without charge.
