Man suffers serious injuries after assault in Gillingham
Officers are appealing for information after a victim suffered injuries to his stomach and back during a serious assault in Gillingham.
The incident is reported to have happened at around 10.40pm on Monday 30 April in the areas of West Street and East Street.
The victim, a man aged in his 30s, was reportedly attacked by four men.
He was seen running from the assault in nearby Burnt Oak Terrace and was later found by officers in Victoria Street.
He was taken to a hospital in London where he remains in a serious but stable condition. The injuries he suffered are consistent with stab wounds.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw the assault, or saw anything suspicious in the area at the time.
