Shopkeeper threatened and cash stolen from store in Gravesend

Officers are appealing for information after a man allegedly threatened a shopkeeper and stole cash in Gravesend.

The robbery happened at Aman General Store in Singlewell Road at around 10.40pm on Wednesday 2 May.

A man is reported to have entered the store, threatened the victim, and stole a small quantity of cash before leaving.

He was seen walking away in the direction of nearby Cross Lane.


The suspect is described as white, aged between 20 and 30 years old, 5ft 9ins, and of medium build.

He spoke with an English accent and wore a blue jacket with a fur hood trim, dark jeans, a Nike hooded top, and a grey and black balaclava with white dots.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who knows the identity of the suspect.
