Two in custody following disturbance in Margate

Two men are in custody following a disturbance in the Northdown Road area of Margate.
 
A third man was taken to a local hospital for treatment after he was reportedly assaulted by the suspects, one of whom was said to have been carrying a hand saw. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
 
Several other people are also believed to have been threatened during the incident, shortly after 10am on Saturday 25 May 2019.

Affray and assault

Officers attended and arrested two men on suspicion of affray, assault and possession of an offensive weapon. They remain in custody.
 
A hand saw was recovered from the scene.
