Maidstone man banned for drink driving
David Arthur Davis was sentenced on 22 December 2017 at Mid Kent Magistrates’ Court.
He pleaded guilty to drink driving, and was convicted of the offence by magistrates.
On 7 December 2017 the 61-year-old, of Lower Road, Maidstone, drove on Lower Road, Maidstone, with 65 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
For breath tests the legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Magistrates disqualified Davis from driving for 3 years and fined him £156.
The ban will be reduced if he satisfactorily completes a driving course approved by the Secretary of State.
The course will not exceed £250.
He was also ordered to pay £85 in costs and £30 to fund victim services.
