Man convicted for driving offences in Chatham

John Oluwafemi Olowe was sentenced on 23 January 2018 at Medway Magistrates’ Court.
He pleaded guilty to drink driving and driving whilst disqualified and without insurance. He was convicted of the offences by magistrates
On 11 June 2017 the 28-year-old, of Luton Road, Chatham, drove on New Road, Rochester with 205 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of urine.
For urine tests the legal limit is 107 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of urine.
On the same occasion, he drove whilst disqualified and without third party insurance.
Magistrates disqualified Olowe from driving for 39 months and ordered him to undertake 200 hours of unpaid work.
He was also ordered to pay £85 in costs and £85 to fund victim services.
