An investigation has been launched after a dog died in Gravesend.
It was reported that between 1.30pm and 2pm on Sunday 27 September 2026 the pet Chihuahua was pulled from the lake at Shorne Woods Country Park where it was confirmed deceased.
Officers are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances, including reviewing any possible CCTV.
They would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the park at the time and who may have witnessed the incident.
