Officers investigating a serious collision in Edenbridge are renewing their appeal for information after identifying another vehicle that was in the area at the time.
On Thursday 2 April 2026 at 5.30pm, Kent Police received a report of the incident, involving a blue Ford Puma and a Yamaha FZ6 motorbike, on Ide Hill Road.
Patrols attended the scene along with South East Coast Ambulance Service, and the motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was taken to a London hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the car, a 37 year old woman from the local area, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, drink driving and driving whilst unfit. She was taken into custody and released on bail pending further enquiries.
Officers are urging witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police or motorists with relevant dashcam footage to get in contact.
In particular, they would like to speak to the driver of a grey Ford Fiesta in the area at the time of the incident who may have information that could assist in the investigation.
Anyone with information should call the appeal line on 01622 604100 quoting reference 46/52555/26.
