Investigators are appealing for information following a serious collision near the Dartford Crossing.
At around 4pm on Wednesday 24 July 2024, a white VW Crafter van, orange Volvo lorry and white Peugeot Boxer van were travelling into Kent on the A282, when they were involved in a collision, just prior to junction 1a.
Patrols, Kent Fire and Rescue Service and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where a woman, who was a passenger in the VW, was treated for serious injuries. She was taken to a London hospital for further medical attention.
Roads policing officers are investigating the incident and are appealing to anyone who was travelling in either direction and saw what happened, or has relevant dashcam footage, to come forward.
Anyone with information should call the appeal line on 01474 366149, quoting reference 24-0941.
Drivers with dashcam that may assist can upload the footage using this link here.
