Witnesses and dashcam footage are sought following a serious collision on the A20 in Dover.
Kent Police was called at 3.42am on Thursday 9 July 2026 following reports that a pedestrian had been involved in a collision with a lorry, between Union Street and York Street.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 40s, was airlifted to a London hospital where she remains in a life-threatening condition.
A 41 year old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and remains in custody.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for anyone who may have seen the collision or the moments leading up to it to get in touch.
