Dashcam footage, private CCTV and witnesses are sought by officers investigating an aggravated burglary in Sevenoaks.
Kent Police was called just after 1pm on Wednesday 20 May 2026 to a report of a burglary from a residential property in Old London Road, near Badger’s Mount.
It is alleged a man broke into the home, pushed the elderly occupant to the floor, and took items of jewellery, including an Armani watch.
He left the scene in a dark coloured estate car via Old London Road, in the direction of Knockholt.
Patrols attended to complete house-to-house enquiries, review available CCTV, and identify forensic evidence.
Detective Constable Leo Graham said:
‘We are keen to locate the suspect after a woman in her 90s was cruelly targeted and assaulted during the incident. ‘The man is described as white and was wearing a scarf over his face. ‘Anyone with information, is urged to contact Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/80111/25.’
Local residents with private CCTV or drivers with dashcam, who may have been in the area at the time of the incident, are also asked to check for footage.
