Two men have been arrested following a series of vehicle break-ins in Ashford, while officers appeal for witnesses to come forward.
Kent Police received multiple reports that cars and vans were tampered with between Thursday 19 February and Friday 20 February 2026.
Vehicles were targeted in Sandyhurst Lane, Canterbury Road, Maidstone Road, Potters Close, Hillcrest Close and Hazel Heights.
Items alleged to have been stolen include cash, clothing, documents, bank cards and personal items.
Just before 6am on 20 February, patrols responded to a suspicious incident in the Kennington area, and a man was promptly arrested.
A second man was tracked down and detained near Ashford town centre later that morning.
The suspected thieves, aged 28 and 27, were taken into custody and later bailed with conditions while enquiries are completed.
Officers are urging anyone with relevant information to assist the ongoing investigation, including CCTV or doorbell footage, to come forward.
