Witnesses are sought and residents are being warned following a series of suspicious incidents in the Broadstairs area.
At around 4am on Wednesday 11 December 2024, a person was seen jumping over back fences in Ranelagh Grove, St Peter's.
An hour later on the same day, a man was reportedly seen attempting to break in to a shed in Grant Close.
At 9pm that evening, a person was seen attempting to break in to an outbuilding in Dane Court Gardens.
A CCTV image of a person police believe may be able to assist enquiries has been released as part of the ongoing investigation.

Following the incidents, residents in the area are advised to:
• Ensure windows, doors and garages are locked and any security systems are switched on when away from the house.
• Switch on any external security lighting or CCTV and report any suspicious activity as soon as possible by ringing 999.
• When out, use timer switches on lights and radios to make your home look occupied.
• Make sure items such as ladders or bins, which can be used to climb over fences or into windows, are stored away, out of view.
• Check sheds and outbuildings are secure and that property inside such buildings is not on display.
